After the “leak” through a UK retailer, Activision has officially confirmed that the next game in its on-going man-shooter will in fact be Call of Duty: Ghosts.

As with the previously extracted information, the game is being developed by Infinity Ward, features a new game engine, and will release on 5 November 2013 on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

Activision released a teaser for the game, which also essentially confirmed that it will arrive on the next-generation Xbox, with a full trailer being released at the Xbox reveal event, which is set to take place on 21 May.
