For the second time in the last 2 months Steam is selling Trine for 75% off its normal price. The action-adventure-platformer can now be bought for $5.
Trine is one of the best side scrolling platformers released in some time. It’s cutting edge visuals and excellent physics engine make it stand out from other similar indie projects. I was impressed by just how well the game drew me into its fantasy atmosphere. The narrative voice work and music were both spot on, and being able to swap between the three unique characters to solve the puzzles was great.
The special will run until Thursday, and is part of Steam’s midweek madness initiative. The download requires 460mb of international bandwidth.
