February’s FraArena LAN is upon us, and the doors to the event will open at 7PM this evening. FragArena has become a favourite for Pretoria’s gamers, and its monthly LAN’s have become known for their friendly atmosphere and solid networking.
The most played games at FragArena are DOTA, Counter Strike: Source, Call of Duty 4, Call of Duty: World at War and far Cry 2.
The LAN kicks off tonight and runs through until Saturday night. A Call of Duty 4 pistols only competition will be held tomorrow morning at 10AM, with a cash pot prize up for grabs for the winner. Other attractions include CoD4 clan matches, a DOTA tournament, big screen guitar hero and free coffee (bring a cup).
A gas braaie will be provided for gamers wishing to bring meat, and there will also be a tuck shop selling hotdogs, sandwiches and cool drinks.
