Telkom DoGaming league pools announced

15 February 2010

The Telkom DoGaming annual gaming league is the biggest of its kind in SA, with 100s of the best gamers in SA competing in a variety of games over the year.

The final pools for 2010 have been drawn. Four separate divisions have been setup for Call of Duty 4, and there is also a Counter Strike: Source league as well as a Heroes of Newerth league.

The Call of Duty Premier league and second division league seed rankings have been arranged according to the teams’ performances in 2009. Division 3 contains the rest of the teams in a pool format.

The Counter Strike: Source and Heroes of Newerth leagues have been randomly arranged into pools. There will be no Team Fortress 2 league this year due to the game not receiving strong enough support.

A Battlefield: Bad Company 2 league is also expected to be announced, but the details of that will only be finalised after the game is launched on March 5.

The first leg of the Call of Duty leagues kicks off today, and will run until March 29.
