Pantheon and Bravado (formerly Brazen) arguably have the two best Call of Duty 4 teams in SA. Many a tournament final has come down to a close game between the two teams over the past year or so, with Bravado edging the victory almost every time.
The long standing rivals have already faced off in the early rounds of this years Telkom DoGaming CoD 4 league, and while the result was not a complete shocker, it did come as a bit of a surprise.
Pantheon brought their A game, and managed a convincing victory over Bravado with the final sore sitting at 15-9.
Pantheon started off on a positive note by winning the knife round, and did not look back, tacking the score to 9-3 by half time. Pantheon team captain Chris ‘Evax’ Noble lead well from the front, with Telkom DoGaming reporting an 11 kill streak at one stage from him. Greg ‘Rora’ van der Spuy was also commended for his performance on the night, and in particular his solid work around the bomb sites.
Bravado did come back a bit after half time, but not enough to save the game.
While Pantheon were noted for playing particularly well on the night, Bravado apparently made some uncharacteristic mistakes.
