Mass Effect 2 gets more free DLC

11 March 2010

Bioware has released another free in game item for download via the game’s Cerebrus Network.

The Arc Projector is the item in question, and it’s a weapon which is capable of discharging a “massive electrical blast that can jump to multiple targets” explains Bioware.

More free DLC content is expected to become available soon, including a hovertank and five new missions.

All DLC requires players to have a Cerebrus Network account which comes free with the game, but is only activatable once, which means that second hand buyers do not automatically gain access. In order for them to gain access to the free DLC they must pay a once of $15 (R110) Cerebrus Network signup fee.
