MyGaming’s Star Craft II beta keys arrive

17 March 2010

MyGaming finally received our StarCraft 2 beta keys from Activision today, and needless to say, we are pretty excited.

The beta has been running for a month today, and it’s been a trying few weeks since we were approved to receive beta keys. Still, better late than never of course, and as of today we are in possession of 3 keys that will allow us to take part in the game’s online multiplayer testing period.

An ardent StarCraft fan in the MyGaming forums – Caboose – will be taking part in our beta testing. Caboose has been playing StarCraft since its launch, and was at one stage ranked 300 on EU Battle.net. He has also competed locally at a provincial level, earning Kwazulu Natal colours.

Myself and MyGaming staff writer Tom Manners will also be taking part in the beta, and providing regular feedback, complete with screenshots, gameplay videos and walkthroughs detailing our experience.

We will be providing direct feeback, and welcome questions and requests in our official SC2 beta thread. You can make requests for specific videos, screen shots, or general queries here, and we will do our best to provide you with the relevant content.
