PS4 controller pre-order prices emerge

29 July 2013

Amazon has listed pre-order prices for the Playstation 4’s Dualshock 4 controller, matching closely with the RRP set by Sony.

The Amazon UK store has the Dualshock 4 priced at £54.99 (R830*), while the US store has it priced at $59.99 (R588.60*).

The RRPs set by Sony were the following: US $59, US Canada $59, £54, €59 – making Amazon’s pricing along the lines of Sony’s initial price-points.

These controller prices aren’t the only ones that have emerged, as Microsoft has put out the pre-order price for Xbox One’s controllers and peripherals.

The Microsoft store has the Xbox One controller for $59.99 (R588.60*), while the “Play and Charge” bundle, which features a rechargeable battery and cable, is priced at $74.99 (R735.95*).

The Xbox One will be priced at $499, while its competitor, the PS4, will be priced at $399.
