Modern Warfare 2 Stimulus pack gets PC&PS3 release date

9 April 2010

Last week Activision released the first downloadable map pack for its widely successful military themed FPS, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

The map pack included 3 brand new maps, and two maps imported from Call of Duty 4, including the famous “Crash.”

While many criticised the hefty price tag of around R120, it did not stop millions from buying it.

The publisher has announced that the Stimulus pack will be released for PC on May 4th, and to the European PSN the following day.

No mention has been made of the game’s pricing on these two platforms, but we are guessing that it won’t be much different to what Xbox 360 users shelled out for it.

If you still haven’t bought Modern Warfare 2, then remember, you can download it completely free from Steam right now, and play the multiplayer component until the end of this coming weekend.
