April was a decent month for gamers, with Supreme Commander 2, Metro 2033 and Splinter Cell: Conviction all hitting local shelves. There were also a series of cool add-ons, including the Boderlands DLC retail pack, GTA: Tales of Liberty City for PC, and of course Dawn of War II: Chaos Rising.
While it did not match the grandeur of previous months this year, with Mass Effect 2, Bioshock 2, God of War III, Heavy Rain, making it a special Q1 for gamers, there were at least a few gems to get excited about (I’m looking at you Sam Fisher).
May is looking better than April, unless you’re a PC gamer, in which case, it might be a good month to get back to levelling up your Bad Company 2/Modern Warfare 2 profile, or get your hands on Splinter Cell: Conviction which just hit shelves for PC.

While most PC gamers will probably spend this month catching up on recent missed releases, console gamers are being thoroughly spoilt.
Red Dead Redemption is a sandbox adventure title set in the wild west, and according to Rockstar, it is their most ambitious title yet.
Xbox 360 owners will also have to find time for psychological thriller Alan Wake, which is must buy for the platform. Then there is Lost Planet 2, and of course the new Prince of Persia. We are also highly anticipating Mod Nation Racer for PS3, which promises a similar create, play and share dynamic for track design as Little Big Planet did with its custom level design.
