Local Bad Company 2 Leaderboard up and running

3 June 2010

South Africa officially has its very own Battlefield: Bad Company 2 leaderboard.

It is already well populated, with 331 gamers ranked so far. Anyone can sign up to be included in the leaderboard, and once you have done so, you can directly compare your stats with other local gamers, and see where you fit in. Detailed stats, including score, time spend in game, kills and deaths are published. [BFC] Patriarch_za currently has a comfortable lead, with a total of 5731k points.

Created by Tyron “Prokill” Bataille and Calvin “Anbu-siryn” Muller, the local leaderboard is already becoming a useful tool for local Bad Company 2 players. “I’ve done this purely to add some competition to the game,” Bataille told DoGaming. “In no way will I be benefitting from it.”

To have yourself added to the leaderboard, sign up on the iGame forums and post your nick in this forum thread. You can do the same in the SAIX forums, or if you are in a clan, you can email Bataille ([email protected]) a .txt file with the names of the players in your team.

We commend Muller and Bataille for this selfless undertaking, and wish them the best with the project.
