Epic Bethesda Sale on Steam This Weekend

11 June 2010

Valve has officially opened Steam pre-orders for Bethesda’s highly anticipated Fallout 3 spinoff, Fallout: New Vegas. In celebration they have made three award winning Bethesda games available for drastically reduced prices.

You can head on over to Steam right now and buy the following:

– Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition – $24.99 (R190) (50% Off)

– The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Game of the Year Edition – $5.00 (R40) (75% Off)

– The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition Deluxe  -$8.50 (R65) (66% Off)

Bear in mind that these purchases still require bandwidth in order to download the game onto your harddrive, so they are only really beneficial to those with uncapped ADSL, or loads of bandwidth to burn.

All three are Game of the Year versions, and include all their respective DLC packages. This makes them slightly tempting even for those that may already own the games, particularly Fallout 3 and Oblivion.

And this is exactly why cheaper uncapped broadband is such an awesome development for local gamers.
