BioWare is continuing to support Dragon Age with DLC and this time it’s quite a large one. The new DLC pack is entitled Leliana’s Song, and will explore party member Leliana’s history, revealing details on her shady past and the reasons why she joined The Chantry.
From the official Dragon Age website blurb: “Assume the role of Leliana, a young bard involved in a criminal ring that deals in political secrets. Accompanying her mentor Marjolaine on a high-risk mission, Leliana soon finds herself entangled in a game of intrigue that she cannot escape with just her beauty, charm, or stealth. The only way out of this game is to kill or be killed.
There will also be a new character to become familiar with, Tug: “Brash, cunning, uncomplicated – an excellent frontline thug who doesn’t ask questions and knows when he should leave the planning to someone else. Fiercely loyal to his friends, even as he gives them a hard time. A strange fit to follow a bard, although he’d claim there’s no better view.”

Leliana’s Song will be a fully voiced DLC with new musical compositions. Upon visiting the official Dragon Age site one can listen to a sample of one of the new musical tracks, Captivity by Ion Zur. There is also a unique reward promised, which will carry over into the Awakening and Origins campaigns.
Leliana’s Song will be available on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on 6 July 2010 for 560 MS Points, 560 BioWare points, or US$7 (±R53) in normal money.
