If Call of Duty was the Beatles, then Infinity Ward would be Paul McCartney, and Treyarch would be John Lennon. Sure, John Lennon was a great musician, but McCartney pretty much took the cake when it came to making smash hits. Of course Lennon was murdered but a psychotic Holden Caulfield wannabe, while McCartney is still kicking it at 68, which is where the analogy falls apart, since if either developer is dead, its Infinity Ward (thanks Activision).
Anyways, while Treyarch may be the dark horses responsible for the less celebrated CoD games, the developer holds one pretty mean Ace up its proverbial sleeve: Nazi Zombies.
According to Battlestrats, when asked whether the infamous Zombie mode will be making an appearnce in Black Ops, Treyarch’s community manager Josh Olin has this to say:
“If Zombies have anything to do with our top-secret Co-Op mode, then it’s a safe bet there will be a trailer for it eventually…”
Also, PlayAsia mentions the following in the write up of its upcoming black Ops Strategy guide:
Plus, Achievements and Trophies, Co-Op and Nazi Zombie Coverage, and Custom Create a Class Loadouts
So there we have it, you will be able to shoot zombies at some point in CoD: Blacks Ops, as if we needed confirmation.
