Blizzcon is coming up soon, October 22 and 23 to be precise, and as usual gamers are anticipating some juicy morsel about Blizzard’s upcoming titles, World of WarCraft: Cataclysm, Diablo III, and StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm.
Unfortunately, Blizzard is grinding levels in their ‘tight lipped’ skill bracket, and won’t be revealing, displaying, showing or otherwise visually demonstrating any elements from Heart of the Swarm.
Speaking to PC Gamer, StarCraft II lead designer Chris Sigaty said: “We’re still working on the details [of the expansion], and the last thing I want to do is to talk about theoretical things instead of talking about what’s real.”
Like a level 80 battle-god bestowing a gold coin upon a fresh-faced noob, Sigaty did point out that there will be a panel discussion revolving around Heart of the Swarm, which will have to be enough to tide over hungry StarCraft II fans.
“We will be featuring a Q&A to talk about story but that will [be] to tie up any loose ends and questions players have about what was happening during the story. We won’t be going into details about what’s going to happen in Heart of the Swarm,” concluded Sigaty.
We’ll just have to settle for a reveal of the fifth character class in Diablo III.
