GTA V at its most photorealistic yet

25 August 2015

This is not the first attempt at getting GTA V to look as photorealistic as possible that we’ve reported on; it’s little surprise given the results graphical mods are achieving.

Photorealism mods have been the darling of GTA IV and GTA V, and it’s all thanks to the iCEnhancer mod for GTA IV.

iCEnhancer, thanks to the power and versatility of ENBSeries, significantly improved the lighting and shaders of GTA IV, to spectacular effect. And its implementation in GTA V is already showing some promising results.

This time round, however, MartinBergman (otherwise known as Toddyftw on Reddit), has plans to produce the most photorealistic version of GTA V with Toddyhancer.

Toddyftw has claimed to use Reshade Shaders, ENBSeries, some tone mapping and a few simple tweaks to achieve the results you see above.

They’re fairly impressive, but it’s the video released alongside these screenshots that most impressed us.

Toddyhancer has produced the most authentic version of GTA V yet, as far as we’re concerned. We can’t wait to give it a go.

What we would like to point out, as many of you have noticed, is that these enhancements will likely hit your graphics card pretty hard.

If you want to play GTA V via the Tonyhancer and achieve a good framerate, have beastly rig at your side.
