ADSL for as little as R79 per month: Best 1Mbps and 8Mbps prices

In August, Telkom launched two additional ADSL speed offerings which formed part of its existing Resell DSL product portfolio – 1Mbps and 8Mbps lines.

The 1Mbps service launched with the lowest-ever ADSL access price seen in South Africa – with retail prices starting at R55 per month.

It was not long before Internet service providers launched their new 1Mbps and 8Mbps ADSL products, which included uncapped services.

The price for uncapped 1Mbps products – both data and access – are the lowest ever seen in the country.

The table below provides an overview of the new uncapped ADSL prices from SA’s ISPs.
