October is here, and local retailers are delivering some pretty alluring gaming specials this weekend. But if you’re feeling overwhelmed, don’t panic – we’ve wrapped up all the biggest gaming deals for your convenience (you can pay us in high-fives later).

SteelSeries Flux Headset (Takealot) – R258

Takealot has cut the price on the SteelSeries Flux headset, pricing it at R258, which is a good deal off of the original price.

Xbox 360 and games bundle (Incredible Connection) – R3,400

If you’re looking for a last-gen deal, Incredible Connection has a 500GB Xbox 360 console, one controller, Battlefield 4 and FIFA 16, all for R3,400.

Graphics card specials (Raru) – various prices

Raru is currently running a promotion whereby selected graphics cards are marked down considerably. Some of the standout deals are the following:

To celebrate the one year anniversary of Xbox One, Prima Interactive is giving South Africans purchasing the 500GB edition of the Xbox One a free copy of the recently-released FIFA 16 (valued at R899).

The Zone @ Rosebank opening specials (BT Games) – R4,999.90

To celebrate the opening of the BT Games store in the Zone @ Rosebank (JHB), the retailer has some specials on Xbox One and PS4 games, with a number of premium games, such as GTA V,Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Far Cry 4, for R399 each.

BT Games Summer Madness Sale (BT Games) – various prices

BT Games is celebrating the warm weather by dropping prices on games and consoles this weekend.

Some of the specials include PS4 and Xbox One games going for prices between R299.90 and R499.90. Some of the standout titles include Wolfenstein: The New Order (PS4/Xbox One) for R299.90, Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition (Xbox One/PS4) for R399.90 and Dying Light (Xbox One/PS4) for R499.90.

PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 games are also on special. Some of the great games include Batman: Arkham Origins (PC) for R99.90, Red Dead Redemption: GOTY Edition (Xbox 360/PS3) for R299.90 and Hitman: Absolution (Xbox 360/PS3) for R199.90.
