From audio and visual improvements to a huge array of gameplay fixes, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s patch v1.10 is the largest to date, and by a good margin.
It’s so big, in fact, that it weighs in at an astounding 15GB – something we were warned about prior to its release.
The only update in The Witcher’s history that comes even close was an almost complete overhaul to The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings called ‘Enhanced Edition’.
The @witchergame patch 1.10 is going to be around 15gb on consoles (depending on SKU) and between 6-15gb on PC (depending on platform).

V1.10 not only makes 13 pages worth of changes to The Witcher 3, but according to CD Projekt RED forum user Senseioyama, it introduces a number of undocumented additions as well as improves a number of other aspects – the current list of which can be found in the forum post.
It’s a fantastic time to replay The Witcher 3 – hello New Game Plus Mode.
But before you do start a new game, keep in mind that you can expect CD Projekt RED to introduce a lot more to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in the form of the game’s first expansion, Hearts of Stone.
The expansion releases tomorrow, October 13th.
It’s hard to believe but The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt just got that much better.
You can read the entire changelog for v1.10 here.
