Loved Dragon Age? Got a Facebook account? Oh, you’re going to go 3D6 levels of temporary insanity for this news then – EA’s bringing a Dragon Age 2 promotional strategy RPG to Facebook in February, dubbed Dragon Age Legends.
“Dragon Age Legends blends accessible and engaging tactical combat with compelling co-operative gameplay perfectly suited for social networks, making for a unique offering on the platform,” goes the press release. “Alongside their Facebook friends, players will take on challenging quests within an engaging storyline, earning loot, sharing rewards and growing their kingdom.”
The game takes places in Kaiten, a city in Dragon Age 2’s Free Marches, and has players off on an adventure to save the local Viscount’s kid. More importantly, perhaps, playing the game will unlock stuff in Dragon Age 2, although details of what exactly this is have not yet been announced. Probably a rubbish sword or something.
In the meantime, you can even get signed up for a January beta over here.
