Bioshock Collection leaked via Brazilian ratings board

23 February 2016

Rating boards seem to be the new leaky pipe for yet-to-be-announced games, prematurely revealed to the world – the latest being Bioshock: The Collection.

According to the listing on the Brazilian Advisory Rating Board, the game is set for release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, and by virtue of the name we’re guessing it includes Bioshock, Bioshock 2 and Bioshock Infinite.

This also adds weight to the initial leak which saw a product page for Bioshock: The Collection pop up on local retailer Raru’s online store.

Admittedly, the PC has enjoyed prettier and more technically proficient versions of all three games since day one, so a reworked version hitting the current-gen consoles (perhaps to promote an upcoming instalment?) should come as no surprise.

There’s always the possibility that 2K will further enhance the games for PC though, perhaps with nicer textures or lighting effects, but we’re thinking it primarily revolves around the inclusion of the game’s DLC.

We’ll know for sure when BioShock: The Collection is either confirmed or denied by 2K — but until that time, the rating has the game pegged for a release later this year.
