Free Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood DLC coming to PS3 and Xbox in December

25 November 2010

Ubisoft’s announced that the Animus Project Update 1.0 DLC add-on – including a brand new multiplayer game mode and map – for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood will be launching on 14 December. For the price of absolutely nothing. Mutto bene.

The new game mode, Advanced Alliance, sees the original Alliance Mode with increased difficulty for target identification, tracking, and engagement, with three teams of two players. The map is set on the fortified French island of Mont Saint-Michel, and stuffed with “narrow streets, high-perched bell towers and multi-levelled architecture”.

“We are very thrilled to be able to offer the first Multiplayer DLC for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood for absolutely free,” says Ubisoft Montreal  executive producer Sebastien Puel. “We wanted to say thank you to our fans for making Brotherhood such a huge success its opening week. We are very proud of the unique and innovative Multiplayer mode it offers, and hope the fans enjoy the new content.”
