Philips 43-inch 4K monitor gets incredible South African pricing

20 April 2016

The Philips Brilliance 43-inch 4K Ultra HD monitor will launch in South Africa later this year at a RRP of R13,500 ex VAT, said Philips partner MMD.

The new high-performance display features a UHD resolution (3,840 x 2,160 pixels), and includes a pair of 7W stereo speakers.

Philips is aiming the monitor at professionals who require detailed images for applications, such as CAD solutions, 3D graphics applications, and broad content-heavy spreadsheets, but gamers should also take note – if you have a powerful enough rig to handle the 4K monitor.

The monitor also features Philips’ MultiView 4K technology, allowing four systems to be viewed in full HD on one screen.

The display will feature IPS 178/178-degree technology that permits extra-wide viewing angles.

The pricing on the display seems a little too good to be true at the moment, so expect pricing to differ slightly closer to the time.
