Samsung reveals the world’s biggest microSD

16 May 2016

Samsung has just announced a massive new microSD card – the EVO Plus 256GB.

Sandisk previously held the record for “world’s biggest microSD” when they released a 200GB MicroSD in March.

“The EVO Plus 256GB microSD card has read and write speeds of 95MB/s and 90MB/s respectively, and can store up to 55,200 photos, 12 hours of 4K video, 33 hours of full HD video, or 23,500 songs”, the Verge reports.

The EVO Plus will also feature a 10-year warranty.

The card will be commercially available in over 50 different countries some time in June 2016.
