A set of leaked specifications for the GTX 1070 has been confirmed by Nvidia, PCWorld reports.
Various information about the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 has been appearing online, creating speculation as to the exact specifications of the graphics card.
The GeForce GTX 1070 will cost almost half the price of the more powerful flagship GeForce GTX 1080 card, while also delivering relatively high amounts of processing power thanks to Nvidia’s new Pascal architecture.
The GTX 1070 will not feature the cutting-edge GDDR5X memory seen in the GTX 1080, instead it will use standard GDDR5 memory.
The card looks like it could serve as a relatively inexpensive upgrade to the popular GTX 970, although users will have a better understanding of its power and limitations once benchmarks become available.
