Overwatch is a raging success, with both international and local gamers singing its praise.
Part of that success is Blizzard’s ability to make all of the heroes recognisable as well as being fun to play.
Making these larger-than-life characters is no easy task however, as shown by the recent stage demonstration given by animator David Gibson at this year’s GDC Animation bootcamp.
Gibson primarily focused on the design and animation of Mei, her movement and animation, and how Blizzard makes “living breathing characters”.
