Here’s how to join the Social network that pays users for being nice to one another

13 June 2016

Imzy is a social network that hopes to eliminate trolls and lazy stereotyping by paying its users to be nice to one another.

The network hopes to be “the opposite of Reddit” by not only focusing on the positive aspects of its community but rewarding those who contribute meaningfully.

“Currently the beta allows users to tip moderators and other community members, but in the long term the idea would be for each community to figure out how it wants to use its payment system”, reports ArsTechnica.

“Over the longer term, with Imzy providing a variety of tools for buying and selling, groups might form around selling clothing, games, or art.”

The network already has celebrity backing with both Lena Dunham and Dan Harmon endorsing the project and bringing thousands of users to the closed beta.

You can request to join Imzy’s closed beta here. Alternatively, you can receive access immediately if you are invited by a current user or community.
