Manchester United is looking to sign Overwatch players

Manchester United’s biggest summer transfer could be gaming-related, reports esports-UK.

The footballing giant is reportedly in the market for an unnamed Overwatch team who are currently signed to another eSports organisation.

The club is reported to be bidding against for the team against Fnatic and a third, unnamed party.

“While no deal has yet been made, Fnatic have already made an offer to the team, prompting Manchester United to renegotiate with a counter-offer.”

“Manchester United are the biggest football brand to get involved with eSports so far, so don’t be surprised to see other well-established clubs following suit in years to come”.
