Titanfall 2 will be sold in South Africa

13 June 2016

Titanfall 2 will be officially available in South Africa, according to a recent report by htxt.

This follows the original Titanfall not being sold (physically or digitally) in South Africa, as the country did not meet the required internet performance rates.

Titanfall 2 debuted the series’ first single-player campaign at EA’s press conference, allowing gamers without any internet connection to still join in on the fun.

This and the fact that the game will no longer be an Xbox One exclusive (and not have to rely on Microsoft’s Azure servers) could explain the change of heart.

Titanfall 2 will launch on 28 October 2016 for Xbox One, PC and PS4.
