Alongside its traditional monthly trending video game list, YouTube has released a list of the biggest video game trailers this year.
The list is based purely on views (as you will notice by the disparity in “likes” between the top two posts) over the time period of 1 January – 24 May 2016.

Gears of War 4 Tomorrow Trailer – 16 million views
Doom Fight Like Hell Cinematic Trailer – 8.5 million views
Starter Pokemon for Sun/Moon Revealed – 8.4 million views
Overwatch Animated Short “Dragons” – 5.2 million views
MLB The Show 16 Get Famous Commercial – 4.7 million views
Fallout 4 Far Harbor Trailer – 4.3 million views
Fallout 4 Automatron Trailer – 2.9 million views
Call of Duty: Black Ops III Awakening Trailer – 2.8 million views
