The Brotherhood, a development studio based in South Africa, is working on a follow-up to its sci-fi gothic adventure game, Stasis.

The upcoming game is titled Cayne, and will feature similar gameplay elements to Stasis, along with being set in the same universe as the previous game.

However, Cayne is not a direct sequel to Stasis and can be enjoyed without worrying about spoilers.

Perhaps most importantly, it will be available to all players free via Steam and digital download, and does not require ownership or installation of the previous game.

The game promises to deliver higher resolutions, particles, and post-effects than its predecessor.

Cayne is set to launch by the end of 2016, and will be available free for PC and Mac users.
