Total War: Warhammer gets gruesome blood and gore DLC

1 July 2016

Total War: Warhammer’s new DLC, “Blood for the Blood God” adds gruesome new features to the hit PC game.

These are the new features being added:

  • Blood spurts
  • Gory spatter on unit models
  • Limb and head dismemberment (humanoids and non-legendary characters)
  • Zombies, skeletons and Grave Guard may continue to fight after dismemberment!
  • Explosive Gibbing from deadly mid-torso strikes
  • Blood-drenched UI elements
  • New random, global campaign events that generate greater carnage in battle

This new DLC is not completely unexpected as past Total War games have also featured “bloody DLC”, but this seems like more of a natural fit within the Warhammer Universe.

Blood for the Blood God is available to purchase right now on Steam, for R35.
