Ever wanted to know what the most popular weapon or perk choices in Call of Duty: Black Ops are? Or which killsteaks have claimed the most virtual lives? How about the number of headshots, or knife kills performed to date? Well now you can.
Activision and Treyarch have released a nifty infographic detailing various facts and figures based on user activity since the game was launched late last year.
The game’s virtual death count is sitting at nine times the current world population, which is hovering at just under 7 billion. That’s around 63 billion kills, many of which the Famas assault rifle can take credit for, being the game’s ‘top’ gun.
The top three perk choices – Marathon, Sleight of Hand, Lightweight – suggest a preference for boosting speed, and as far as perks go, the RC-XD has claimed the most lives, although it is also one of the first perks available and is also a lot easier to unlock than the deadly Attack Helicopter which comes in second.
With over 1.1 trillion rounds fired in Black Ops to date, the ever raging online Black Ops war is equivalent to around 161 World War’s.
Call of Duty: Black Ops went down in history as the biggest entertainment media launch of all time when it was released in November last year, and despite a wide range of technical glitches reported by users, it remains the most widely played online FPS in the world.
