While the EA Store isn’t officially listing any features that will be included in the Battlefield 3 Limited Edition, that hasn’t stopped an advert from working its way onto the internet.
It appears that Battlefield 3 Limited Edition will include a free copy of the Back to Karkand DLC. Back to Karkand will feature four maps from Battlefield 2, all re-created for the shiny new Frostbite 2 engine, which will also debut with Battlefield 3. A selection of Battlefield 2 weapons and vehicles will make it into the DLC.
For those who don’t purchase the limited edition of the game, the DLC will be available about one month after the game’s launch.
Battlefield 3 was revealed a few days ago, along with a slew of details on the game. It will include 64-player multiplayer for the PC, fighter jets, and the return of the ‘prone’ manoeuvre.
