According to a report over on Big Download, PC Gaming Alliance president Matt Ployhar has confirmed that founding members Microsoft and Nvidia have quit the organisation.

In an in interview with the site, Ployhar declined to name any reasons for the departures, preferring that both companies speak for themselves on the matter instead. Ployhar recently posted a lengthy exposition of his plans for the PGCA, saying that “Another key thing we’ll be doing is creating a more technical based advisory board that you’ll all be hearing more about very soon. We’re doing this to flesh out the PCGA’s technical expertise while simultaneously addressing perceived gaps in membership. Moving forward this will enable the PCGA to have not only world class research and analysis on its side; but also provides additional technical expertise by adding additional key industry leaders and veterans.”

Other current members of the PCGA include AMD, Dell, Capcom, Epic Games, Logitech, Razer, and Sony.
