Arrowhead Games "trying to make" Magicka for console "a reality"

22 February 2011

We recently caught up with Magicka developer Arrowhead Game Studios’ PR manager, Patrik Lasota.

Amongst other things, Patrick shared his views on piracy, DRM, and even releasing the developer’s hit adventure game, Magicka, on console. While Lasota does believe that developing for PC is viable in today’s gaming landscape, he also expressed an interest in sharing the game with a broader gaming audience.

“We would very much like to release it on multiplatform, and we are trying to make this a reality,” said Lasota, playing it safe, however, with this disclaimer: “Today however, I can make no promises for a console release.”

Our full interview will be up a little later, so be sure to check back.
