According to this “Very Special Message from Gearbox Software”, just released to the internets, Duke Nukem Forever has been delayed from its originally scheduled (haha) May launch until 10 June. That’s one moooore for the road.
“I know it’s hard to believe, but it’s coming” says Gearbox’s Randy Pitchford. “I can’t believe it, it’s almost here. I mean, nothing can stop us now. I mean, not even Duke Nukem himself can get in our way. It’s… it’s the unshippable game, and we’re finally shi-”
But it turns out it’s coming out a bit later than expected, anyway. Only by a month this time, though, so it’s not as bad as some of the others.
To celebrate this latest delay, let’s have a look the game’s delay history.
• April 1997 – Duke Nukem Forever is officially announced.
• March 2011 – It’s still not out.
