Peter Molyneux wants to be “a little bit involved” in any new Syndicate title

29 March 2011

Rumours of an EA-powered Syndicate franchise reboot have been going around for some time now, and asked if he’s happy about the possibility of this happening, original series creator Peter Molyneux tells CVG “Yes, of course”.

But he has some paternal concerns about it too.

“It’s a great feeling to see something you’ve created still have life or meaning. But my first thought is: ‘I wish I could just spend a day with them saying what I thought was really special about Syndicate, or another title for that matter,’” he explains. “They’re smart people and I’m sure they’ll work it out. But it’s like a parent watching their kid grow up and do something with their life – you still want to be a little bit involved.”

And with that, he also volunteers his expert consulting skills around EA’s offices for a day. Somebody has to make this happen. That, and a new Dungeon Keeper game.
