rAge 2017 had over 35,000 visitors and peak network traffic of almost 8Gbps

rAge has released the results of its 2017 event, which attracted 35,845 visitors.

The 15th edition of rAge took place from 6-8 October at the Ticketpro Dome in Johannesburg.

130 exhibitors were at the event, which featured the latest in gaming and technology.

“Our Internet partner, MWEB, reported a massive 130TB was downloaded at an average rate of 5.6Gbps, with a peak of nearly 8Gbps,” said the organisers.

The event’s NAG LAN was attended by over 2,000 gamers, it added.

The dates for rAge 2018 have been set, and will take place from 5-7 October.
