A teenager living in the United Kingdom is suspected of being the mastermind behind the infamous Lapsus$ group that has hacked Samsung and Nvidia and is reportedly responsible for security breaches at Microsoft and Okta.

Four researchers investigating the group believe that the group is led by a teen who goes by the online alias of “White” and “breachhouse”.

He is suspected of running the group’s activities in conjunction with another teenager who lives in Brazil.

However, the teen has not yet been charged as there is insufficient evidence to connect him to every hack that Lapsus$ has taken responsibility for.

The teen’s mother has reportedly spoken to the press. She indicated that she was unaware of the allegations around her son and has also declined to discuss or make him available for an interview.
