Ready or Not – A must-play realistic FPS

If you’re an FPS fan who enjoys high-stakes, tactical, and realistic gameplay, then this game is one to add to your inventory.

Ready or Not was developed by VOID Interactive, and released as an early access PC exclusive on 17 December 2021.

The game is a realistic tactical first-person shooter and is set in the modern-day United States which is plagued with political and economic instability.

Players are placed in the boots of Judge, an elite SWAT commander who is tasked with defusing tense, hostile situations across multiple morally bankrupt cities.

Ready or Not offers a truly immersive tactical experience and its key features are detailed below.

Realism

VOID Interactive raised the bar with its realistic depictions of bullet penetration, ricochets, and projectile expansion and momentum.

The developer even consulted with multiple police departments and tactical teams from around the world to create accurate rules of engagement and a scoring system that is both challenging and realistic.

Easy to use controls

The game is geared toward providing you with an unprecedented level of control over your situational effectiveness.

From taking cover and half peeks, to weapon selection and utility usage – Ready or Not utilizes a simple and organic control scheme that won’t have you fumbling around or forgetting dozens of key binds.

Planning system

Building floor plans and mission briefs are made available to players in order for you to accurately strategise the execution of your mission.

You can decide to deploy with items such as ballistic shields, door rams, tactical ladders, and much more.

You also have the option to call in Sniper teams and Negotiators if the situation warrants it.

Diverse game modes

Ready or Not gives you the option to command a smartly designed team of AI officers in single-player mode or bring order to chaos with friends through a tactical cooperative experience as you battle a rogue organization in a competitive online multiplayer environment.

Customisation

The game gives you access to over 60 unique items so that you can tackle any situation.

Your chosen combination of weapon optics, muzzle modifications, magazine types, and foregrip variations will determine what kind of edge you’ll have in combat.

Ready or Not is available on Steam for R449 and it has very positive recent and overall reviews.
