About Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3
Infinity Ward is currently working with Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software to put the finishing touches on the game. It will kick off moments after the cliff hanger ending we were left with in Modern Warfare 2. Towards the end of Modern Warfare 2 a nuclear warhead is detonated somewhere above the mid-Atlantic. The resultant electromagnetic pulse wipes out all electronic equipment in the surrounding area, which includes much of the USA.
Players will take on the role of key characters from the franchise, as well as random soldiers, including a Russian Federal Protective Services agent, SAS operative, tank gunner and AC-130 gunner. There will be about 15 missions, with the first tasking players with holding off Russian invading forces in Manhattan. Infinity Ward promises larger environments with destructible elements.
Of course multiplayer will be a key component to the game, and there will be two types of Spec Ops modes: Survival and Mission.
