PS3 exclusive carnage racer, Twisted Metal X is going into multiplayer beta today over on the PlayStation Network.
Fans of the series know what it’s all about, but if you don’t, Twisted Metal X has you getting into your vehicle and equipping weapons to maul your opponents in a choatic demolition derby of doom.
Twisted Metal X will feature 16-player online multiplayer, as well as split-screen; though the beta is for online only.
In the beta you’ll have access to:
- 8 vehicles to choose from, each with their own unique special weapons.
- 2 multiplayer modes: Classic free-for-all Death Match, and team-based Nuke mode — a Twisted take on Capture the Flag that’s brand new to the series.
- Challenge mode, where you can practice with each vehicle to hone your destructive skills.
The servers will be up today and you’ll have until February 7th to give it a bash. Literally speaking, of course.
