Konami producer David Cox has a sick sense of humour by teasing fans with messages that seem to hint at a much-wanted follow-up to 2010’s very-underrated Castlevania: Lords of Shadow.
Speaking to his fans via Twitter, Cox wrote: “Today and tomorrow I am in the land of Dracul… What am I doing there?? You will see… : )”.
The hint isn’t the first Twitter-based lead that Konami have teased, as earlier this year, CVG featured a Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 rumour article, which sparked Konami to mention the article in a tweet and added: “tweeted without comment : )”.
Their sickening smiley faces only make awaiting the announcement that much more excruciating.
David Cox also previously expressed the publisher’s devotion to the franchise, saying: “Castlevania will never die. The series is evolving and bringing in new fans, reaching larger audiences.”
