While the recent SSX reboot was highly acclaimed (even by MyGaming’s very own Gareth Thomas in his review), many fans are still missing the golden Tricky-era of the SSX franchise.
Knowing this, EA are releasing DLC to bring back the classic feel and nostalgia to SSX courtesy of the ‘SSX Mt. Eddie Pack & Classic Characters Bundle Pack’.
The DLC includes the titular Mt. Eddie, which featured 9 drops inspired by the jumps and slopes seen in 2001’s SSX Tricky, as it strips down the reboot’s Survive It challenges and opts for more tricks, large kickers and fireworks reminiscent of previous installments.
The expansion also includes retro characters and music tracks from past SSX games, each with various outfits and unique boards.
The SSX Mt. Eddie Pack and the Classic Characters Pack hits in early May and will cost you around $8 (around R64.00) for both, or separately for $6 (R48.00) each.
