In an effort to celebrate two of Sony’s prized series on their platform, the Uncharted and Resistance games will be getting their own special trilogy editions.
The Uncharted Trilogy was first unveiled on Amazon France, and is now available for purchase. The box set includes Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception.
Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception is also getting a special Game of the Year Edition which includes previously released DLC, although the trilogy includes the standard edition.
Local South African retailer BT Games also have a listing on their website which shows a ‘June 2012′ release date.
For more of a sci-fi experience, the Resistance Trilogy will also be invading consoles, as Resistance: Fall of Man, Resistance 2 and Resistance 3 will be featured in the FPS series’ own trilogy edition.
The listing on Amazon France states a release date of May 16, but has yet to be confirmed.
So if you’re looking on catching up with two impressive trilogies, Sony seem to have found an affordable and convenient answer with the 3-pack editions.
