League of Legends pros banned for racism, DDoS

29 January 2013

Three League of Legends players have received firm penalties after being found guilty of different forms of bad conduct. All are members of the same team.

Khaled Abusagr of Team Solo Mebdi has received a lifetime ban for in-game verbal abuse, racism, anti-Semitism, and threatening behaviour.

“As a result of this player’s abject history of poor sportsmanship and harmful actions, the player behaviour team has issued a lifetime ban on Abusagr,” said Riot Games.

Nicolaj Jensen has also received a lifetime ban after committing a series of DDoS attacks against other players, among other things.

Simon Naslund is another casualty of a permanent ban, after constant verbal abuse, offensive behaviour and having a negative attitude, which resulted in a “harassment score so high that it warrants an automatic permanent ban.”
