Scribblenauts Unlimited delayed

5 February 2013

5th Cell and Warner Bros has announced that Scribblenauts Unlimited will experience a delay to store shelves.

The Wii U and 3DS puzzle platformer is said to require a bit more work under the hood before it can be released.

“It has come to light that some changes need to be implemented within the game before we launch,” said Warner Bros and 5th Cell.

The series, which requires players to use their imagination and generate objects to help solve problems, is taking a new step with Unlimited, by allowing players to create customised items using the Wii U GamePad, as well as co-op multiplayer features.

The goal of the level will also not be so obvious this time, requiring Maxwell to chat to characters in the environments in order to find out what he needs to accomplish.

Scribblenauts Unlimited will have a revised release date for Wii U and 3DS, yet to be announced.
