Hitman movie reboot gets leading man

The Fox International Productions reboot of the big-screen adaptation of the Hitman series has got its leading man – Paul Walker.

The Fast and the Furious and Into the Blue star will take over the role of Agent 47, which was previously portrayed by Timothy Oliphant.

Skip Woods and Michael Finch (A Good Day To Die Hard) is writing the script, while Aleksander Bach, who’s well-known for his work on commercials, will direct.

The first Hitman film, despite receiving mixed reviews, racked up just under $100,000,000 at the box office.

Shooting for the new Hitman film is expected to take place in Berlin and Singapore later this year.
