Zynga continues its fall from grace

7 February 2013

Zynga continues its gradual downfall, as the social game maker has now pulled the plug on three more games.

This news comes after the company closed down 11 games in the beginning of January, including  Mafia Wars 2, Vampire Wars, Forestville, FishVille, and PetVille.

Now CityVille 2, The Friend Game, and Party Place have been axed, and will no longer be active on Facebook.

All three of the games were launched in Q4 2012, along with three others, CoasterVille, Bubble Safari Ocean, and Ayakashi, which, for the meantime, will remain active.

Zynga reported a net loss $209.4 million for its last financial year, along with full-year revenue of $1.28 billion.

The company also reported that Fourth Quarter revenues came in at $311 million, which surprisingly exceeded analyst expectations.
